particular area. A consultant is usually an expert or a professional in a specific field and has a wide area of knowledge in a specific subject.

Consultants can save their clients time, revenue, and resources, and that is where Koen has performed many assignments over the last few years for his customers. Outsourcing relationship management is a business discipline widely adopted by companies to manage one or more external service providers as part of an outsourcing strategy. Koen has his own nearshore office and has done nearshore and offshore outsourcing projects in the past, with great results.

As a result of my exposure to, and relationships with numerous organizations, I am typically aware of the industry’s “best practices.” However, the specific nature of the situations under consideration may limit the ability to transfer such practices from one organization to another.

Koen can use his proprietary methodologies or frameworks to guide the identification of problems and serve as the basis for recommendations for more effective or efficient ways of performing

ORKA has developed a unique formula to assist in making highly detailed analyses. Usually, the ERP does not matter, of course; however, we prefer SAP ERP since we develop the cockpits in SAP BW and prefer standard means of integration. In a nutshell, we interface all your vendor invoices daily, and via a special mechanism or algorithm, we map your spending to a European standard categorization.

We aim for 99.5% accurately mapped detailed spending, which will raise awareness and allow you to identify the gaps in your PTP processes and generate sourcing exercises with significant savings. The more detailed information of the source data, the more useful PTP reports we can create.

ORKA specializes in making contribution margin reports; however, it is important for you to share your conceptual formula with us first. Once there is a written consensus on the definition of contribution margin, we will begin to process the data from your ERP and present you with tailor-made calculated results.

We can present the numbers in a spreadsheet or visualize them in a heatmap. A heatmap is a fantastic tool that allows a traffic-light approach to your data that shows you how big a market can be and if you are making money. We consider this extremely valuable information for your business.

ORKA knows how important sales history is to develop an effective sales forecast. When you drive your car forward, you need to look back from time to time. With sales reps being on the road or at the customer’s location, we can provide offline data that is refreshed just before they go offline, which allows them to generate their reports, one-pagers, forecasts, you name it while being on the go.

Typical ERP was not built to make sales forecasts, but rather ERP is integrated with your business intelligence to update you on the actuals. Let’s keep it this way. Is your budget maintained in Excel? Don’t worry, we can upload that too, and provide high-level reporting information.

ORKA considers the transport and warehouse costs in your supply chain to be a very important subject and we demonstrate to you the actuals versus the planned logistic costs. Each company that delivers its products at the customer level should monitor these kinds of costs, and also be aware of whether the warehouses pass on other relevant (storage) costs as a result.

We can have a look at your ERP and assist in building the cockpits for you to optimize moving in the right direction. To be honest, and that goes for all business intelligence we create, if the source system contains too much un-useful information or not enough details, we cannot and will not take the project into BW. We might need to take on an ERP project first, but our analysis will determine this.

ORKA is an expert in SOD and has many proven cases with our customers. If you find your authorizations are a mess in your SAP ECC, we can make an in-depth analysis of what is being used and by who and present you with the results. It is up to you to identify your users and the permissions they need to complete their day-to-day activities.

ORKA has recommendations from the Big 5 on how SOD should be organized. When your authorizations are rebuilt and correctly assigned, something we can assist you with, we will then propose corresponding SOD groups and define the level of conflict between all possible combinations of those groups. It is up to you to tackle these conflicts, or potentially indicate where to remove permissions from certain users and organize your company in a different way to avoid conflicts.
